    Appearance:  Jrathen stands 5'9" with a trim build, muscular a little, nothing well defined.  He has a nice golden tan, not too deep, not to light.  Jrathen's hair is what identifies him.  He has lose, careless curls of ebony that drap down around his face to about his cheek bones.  His eyes are dark green with a laid back expression and a very intense gaze.  Jra's face is very handsome, well defined features, and youthful, his emotions always seem hidden behind his dark eyes and thin lips.

    Personality:  Jrathen is a quiet person who sits and observes.  When he has to speak, his words are worth listening to.  Jra is always thinking, his mind is racing to take in every detail, saving it for future reference.  When he wants, he can be a charmer, but mostly he's a pacifist and easy going with almost anything.  Jra has a good humor, but he mostly only smiles and hardly ever laughs.  It's hard to get him mad, but if you do, Jra will give you the "silent treatment" until amends are made.

    History:  Jrathen grew up in Tanora Hold.  His father was Stewart and his mother was a resident healer.  Jra's best friend was the son of a soldier and together they learned how to fight, hunt, and spy.  His mother taught him healing secrets and his father taught him politics.  He traveled with his father when he volunteered to over seeing of the goods transported to the Weyr.  It was there he was asked to Stand.
