    Personality:  Rowena is a loner.  She prefers the company of animals to that of humans.
                   She is an outdoor type girl, staying inside just doesn't suit her.  She is
                   kind and easy to get along with, once you get past the initial 'leave me
                   alone, I don't like people' facade.  She's not very confident when it comes
                   to talking with strangers, unless she's bargaining with them over trade
                   supplies.  She is very in tune with her surroundings, and can easily detect any
                   change, no matter how subtle.  She gets that skill from always moving around
                   and having to know if there're extra people or if something's missing.  She
                   has a trader's mind, and a healer's  heart.

    History:  Rowena was born of a firelizard flight.  Her father had set up camp by
               the Healer Hall when his green rose to mate.  Claryn's brown caught her.  A
               few days later, Pulan left, thinking nothing was out of the ordinary.  But a
               year later, on his return trip, he found out that he had a daughter -
               another one.  His older daughter was with him when he returned, and had
               instantly loved having a sister.  Claryn told Pulan to take Rowena with
               him.  She was a promising healer, and had not wanted to give up her studies
               to take care of a child.  So Pulan took his youngest daughter with him.  Rowena
               was a fast learner of all trades.  She loved visiting with the old men and
               women of different Holds and Crafts and learning from them.  Sometimes she sat
               in on classes for the apprentices of different crafts.  Her skills range
               from reading and writing music and  singing to herbs and healing and
               knowing how to care for nearly every  animal on Pern.  This skill especially
               comes in handy because she has a large  assortment of pets.  Most were from
               clutches and litters of those that traveled with her father's caravan.

    Pet(s) appearance/personality:  Night is a pure black canine that is
                                     overly protective of Rowena.  He's normally right next to her, helping
                                     to 'watch over' the other pets.  Day is a light blue firelizard that is
                                     friendly with nearly everyone.  The only time he's not friendly is when he
                                     senses something bad about the person.  Sun is a dark tan kitten with more than
                                     enough energy.  He always wants to play, and loves getting attention.
                                     Star is a lighter tan than her brother.  She is much like Sun, but
                                     less aggressive about it.  Moon is the odd one.  Her pure white coat, and deep
                                     green eyes give her a ghostly appearance.  She's smaller than her
                                     siblings, being the last born and then  ignored by her mother.  She looks to
                                     Rowena for everything, and won't go near anyone else.
